History

1988.12 Created by spin-off of Mic Ltd.’s trade division to form an independent importer of medical equipment and consumables.
1989.1 Commenced import and sale of plastic medical gloves from Taiwan.
1989.6 Licensed by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) to import and sell medical devices.
1993.4 Began importing and selling latex medical gloves from Malaysia.
1995.10 Acquired Enishi Industries, a manufacturer of special needles for medical use, and established Soken Co., Ltd.
1995.12 Commenced import and sale of endoscopes and “Instrunet,” an enzyme detergent especially for surgical instruments, from Spain.
1996.2 Capital increase from JPY 8,000,000 to JPY 10,000,000.
1997.9 Licensed by MHLW to manufacture medical equipment (No. 11BZ5009).
1997.10 Increased capital from JPY 10,000,000 to JPY 48,000,000 and acquired Soken Co., Ltd.
1999.9 Capital increase from JPY 48,000,000 to JPY 78,000,000.
1999.10 Began selling anesthesia needles and biopsy needles in Japan.
1999.10 Began selling anesthesia needles in Europe.
2002.4 Patented Facil Point spinal anesthesia needle in U.S. (No. US6,375,641 B2).
2002.10 Patented Facil Point spinal anesthesia needle in Japan (No. 3359646).
2003.4 Patented epidural Wave Point needle in U.S. (No. 6,551,289).
2005.9 Patented epidural Wave Point needle in Europe (No. 1252908).
2006.1 Began production of anesthesia needles in China (Tianjin).
2007.7 Obtained ISO13485 certification.
2009.9 Obtained CE Mark certification.
