- 1. The external needle is removable, so the main body of the biopsy needle won’t get in the way inside the CT dome.
- 2. Hemostatic drugs can be administered using an indwelling cannula. There are many other applications, including administration of alcohol using a PEIT needle.
- 3. Using the plunger, stroke length can be set at either 10 mm or 20 mm. Precise biopsy sampling with little deformation or collapse is possible at both settings.
- 4. A unique “dimpled” echo marker is used for the tip to ensure ultrasound visibility.
- 5. The cannula has deep calibration marks every 1 cm. Used in combination with the attached movable stopper, it allows extremely precise insertions to be made.
